Volunteer for the MV Book Festival and MV Author Series

The Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival and Author Series are made possible by dozens of dedicated volunteers each year. The passion, drive, and positivity of the festival’s volunteer community is inspiring—dozens of community members donating their time and gathering together for a common purpose. If you love books and being a part of a team, you are a perfect fit to be part of our volunteer community.

We are looking for volunteers to greet attendees, check in sponsors and guests, manage ticket and book sales, usher guests, distribute books, assist with book signings, direct traffic and much more. Please read the specific criteria below and use the application link to sign up today.

All volunteers must:

• be at least 16 years of age

• commit to at least one 2-3 hour shift

• attend a training session in advance of their scheduled event.
